PRECINCT DELEGATE RECRUITMENT & TRAINING
OUR GOAL:
The recruitment of constitutional conservatives in Clinton County who will run as precinct delegates in their township or precincts on the August 2012 primary ballot. We are looking for individuals who want to play a significant role in eliminating the progessive elements in government in Lansing and Washington D.C. It is imperative that we replace Barack Obama and Debbie Stabenow if we have any hope of rolling back Obamacare and the other draconian programs that have been implemented by the Obama administration.
PRECINCT DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
A definition of a precinct delegate’s responsibilities can be seen at the following link:
BECOMING A PRECINCT DELEGATE
Additionally we are asking precinct delegates help us in identifying additional conservative voters within Clinton County who are currently considered either “Independents” or “Undeclared” voters. The State Republican Party has provided us with the names of these voters and we will be conducting a voter survey to help ascertain their political leanings. With the additional voter information hopefully we will be able to get them to the polls on election day to vote for our candidates in 2012.
The following is a more detailed explanation of the CCRP Voter Identification Program for the 2012 Election:
The CCRP has been asked by the State Party to help in identifying an additional 9,400 conservative voters in Clinton County prior to the election in 2012. It has been estimated the Michigan Republican Party needs to get an additional one million more republican voters to the polls than who voted for Rick Snyder in 2010 to beat President Obama and Debbie Stabenow.
To accomplish that goal we are asking ALL of the Clinton County Precinct Delegates to do their part by calling people who are designated by the State Party as “undefined voters” and ask them a series of survey questions to help ascertain what their voting inclination will be when they vote in the 2012 general election. The responses to the phone survey will be entered into the “Voter Vault” database where we will subsequently use the information to identify and get people to the polls to vote for our candidates.
Anne Hill has graciously volunteered to serve as the “Voter Identification” Chairperson to spearhead our county efforts. You will be hearing from her over the next few weeks with more details regarding the campaign. As you know precinct delegates are the life blood of the party and we can’t do it without your help.
With your help we will put a conservative in the White House and replace Debbie Stabenow in the U.S. Senate.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING:
We will be holding a meet & greet organizational meeting (MSU tailgate get together) at Jimmy’s Pub on October 29 to talk about the campaign and to just get to know everyone a little better as we get ready for the 2012 election push. Additional details about the tailgate will be emailed to the precinct delegates in early September. Please feel free to let your friends and family know about it and ask them to come if they are interested in playing a part in restoring responsibility in government.
