Dems Propose 'Reasonable Profits Board' to Regulate Oil Company Profit

Democrats claim that they're worried about high gas prices, so they want to set up a board to come up with "a reasonable profit" for the oil companies and tax the surplus.  What a great idea!  The government thinks it has the authority to siphon off the profit of a private company and do what they want with the money.  Anybody out there believe this would have any impact on the cost of gas at the pump?  Just another great redistribution of the wealth idea.  If you're up to it, read the full story at: thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/house/205085-dems-propose-reasonable-profits-board-to-regulate-oil-company-profits
